Columbia Inn at Peralynna Manor

We were supposed to be visiting a family member in Pennsylvania and some unforseen hiccups occured. Quickly, we regrouped and decided to head towards Maryland to visit some long lost cousins. We were able to stay at The Columbia Inn at Peralynna Manor during the visit.

This Inn is the most beautiful place I have stayed in my 30 years of travel. The bed and breakfast is quiet, and sits back on the property.

It was like a hidden gem on the outskirts of Baltimore. We stayed in the "S" suite that included a jacuzzi tub, and a private bedroom. The bed was PHENOMENAL. So much so that my 8-year old who usually bounces out of bed with energy said, "Ohhhh but it's so comfy.... five more minutes mom?"

Breakfast with Connie was even better than I imagined! We had fresh omlets and french toast that was to die for!

During the historical tour, the owner and innkeeper, Cynthia, mentioned that the house was modeled after a house she lived in while in Germany and comes equipped with 3 hidden staircases.... we searched. And looked. And questioned.... we found none! She offers a free night if you can find one of them.... good luck!

If you are touring through Maryland, visiting DC and showing off the national history-- be sure to stay at The Columbia Inn at Peralynna Manor. It's close enough to everything, yet secluded and private enough to feel like home. It's even close enough for the concert goers at Merriwether Post Pavillion.

We had such a great time... Thank you!!
